Thank you so much for all the tips Ray! We came back from Puerto Rico yesterday and had so much fun there!

We did the biobay tour and it was amazing - words can't describe it! For some reason, though, I got confused and thought Mosquito Bay was off of Fajardo instead of Vieques, so we didn't end up being able to swim in the bay. :( I guess, there's always a next time. :)

Fiesta San Sebastian was such a great experience. I didn't mention San Juan in my blog because I erroneously assumed it was a given that every visit to PR includes SJ... and it wasn't until I got many messages about not having included viejo San Juan that I realized it.

Thanks again for your advice! It was really helpful and so was your site! I'll definitely recommend it! :)

We've done all of those, and more!

Definitely hit up one of the biobays. If it's in your budget, I'd recommend the trip from Fajardo over to Vieques to experience Mosquito Bay! It's a magical, once in a lifetime experience ... swimming in the glowing water ... it's just beyond words.

And if you can't swing the trip over to Vieques for the evening, kayaking in the Fajardo biobay is cool, too.

If you like rapelling, you would probably enjoy one of the zipline adventures (though that may be part of your rapelling trip already).

You didn't list Old San Juan as one of your must-dos. It is. And this weekend is the San Sabastian Festival in OSJ ... kinda like the Puerto Rican version of Marde Gras! Lots of people, music, food and drinks!

If you like adventure trips, checkout the hang gliding that you can do on the south side of El Yunque. We did it a couple weeks ago ... awesome!

Have fun!

This is great! Thank you for putting together so many sources of inspiration. You already seem really travel savvy! Would it be ok for you if I referred some of the gap students I work with to your blog? I'm sure it would spark some excitement and then help them go forward with their plans.
