Hi everyone!
My name is Krassi Hristova and like many other young people graduating from colleges all over the world, I’ve decided to take a “Gap Year”. My gap year, however, is more like a gap 8 months… but nevertheless, I have every intention to use them to travel, get some well-deserved rest and learn a new thing or two.
So – tell me – if you could spend 3 months in Europe, what would you do? Ski in the Alps? Sip a cappuccino and live the dolce vita in Rome? Cruise the Greek islands and discover the lost city of Atlantis on Santorini? … Party in Barcelona? See a bull fight in Madrid? Drink a Guinness in Dublin? Eat a waffle in Belgium?
Starting March, 2009 I’ll be traveling across Europe and I’ve decided to start this blog in preparation for the trip. It’s safe to say that there’s almost no country that I will not be visiting and like many other travelers before me, I would, too, like to keep a journal of my trans-European adventure. I will share with you some of the good, the bad, the embarrassing and the exciting experiences, stories and photographs that come along with a cultural immersion such as this.
I am primarily using the blog to keep in touch with family and friends while I’m abroad, so that they know what I am up to and that I’m safe
. I will also share my trip planning experience and all the useful information and links that I used to make my European adventure possible.
Tune in to my weekly updates. I hope you’ll enjoy the site!
Best Wishes,
-K
